An album featuring the works of Noriyasu Tanaka, a composer highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, particularly for his chamber music compositions. Notable among these is Soundscape, which captivates with its lush, resonant string textures. Composed after 2010, each piece in this collection creates a fresh and distinctive sonic world, marked by Tanaka’s unique sensibility. As the second volume of his works, this album explores new musical territories—not only through traditional acoustic sounds but also by incorporating electronics and a trio featuring Gagaku instruments. The outstanding performances, including that of violinist Koeckert, further enhance the richness of this recording.
