As someone who carries on their legacy, Tsugumi sends forth this music with deep sincerity.
Her 25-string koto sound is remarkably delicate, woven through a technique deeply attuned to the instrument’s unique qualities.
With this special “Tsugumi sound,” she has achieved what her mentor, Nosaka-sensei, could not—winning the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Newcomer Award with the 25-string koto.
